IndiGo is offering tickets starting at Rs 999: Details Here
Ahead of the festive season, IndiGo is offering flight tickets starting as low as Rs. 999 on select routes. IndiGo took to social media giant Twitter and wrote - “We feel incredibly lucky to have been chosen by you 200 million times over. Thank you for being part of our journey.”
As per a report, tickets between Delhi and Jaipur were available for an all-inclusive fare of Rs. 999, whereas, tickets from Bagdogra to Guwahati will cost around Rs 1,005. As per the report, the fares were seen at Rs 1,095 from Coimbatore to Chennai; Rs. 1,112 from Jammu to Srinagar, and Rs.1,120 between Chennai and Bengaluru. Under the government's Udan scheme, airfares are capped at Rs 2,500 per person for an hour's flight to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in which the government will provide a subsidy for flying with such low fares. IndiGo reported a 294% increase in net profit to Rs 551.55 crore, as compared to Rs 139.85 crore in the same period a year ago.
