International Nagar Kirtan departs from Lucknow to Gurudwara Sahib Ranjit Nagar in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

The International Nagar Kirtan has departed from Gurudwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji, in Lucknow to Gurudwara Sahib Ranjit Nagar in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. The International Nagar Kirtan will en route Gurudwara Sahib Ranjit Nagar in Kanpur, via Fatehgarh, Khalsa College, and Unnao. The Palki Sahib is here to celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Also, the International Nagar Kirtan has come all the way from birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji i.e. Sri Nankana Sahib, in Pakistan. The International Nagar Kirtan entered India from the Wagah border in Amritsar on August 01, 2019, where the thousands of people were gathered to welcome the Palki Sahib in India. Likewise, the Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGM) President Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and other key leaders were present there to welcome the Palki Sahib.
