ISIS-inspired modules: NIA conducts fresh raids Ludhiana
National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Counterterrorism agency conducted fresh raids in connection with the presence of suspected ISIS modules in Ludhiana and Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning.

NIA raids are underway at different places in Ludhiana and Uttar Pradesh.
On January 12, NIA arrested Muhammad Absar (24) from Hapur on January 12, following which NIA is conducting fresh raids in these regions.

On December 26, NIA busted an ISIS-linked group of 10 people in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. They were planning serial blasts and suicide blasts to target politicians in Delhi and other parts of North India.

The NIA also seized locally made rocket launcher, 113 digital alarm clocks to be used as timers and 25 kg of explosive materials during the searches.
