ISRO successfully launches PSLV-C48 with RISAT-2BR1 and 9 other satellites [VIDEO]

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday launched the RISAT-2BR1 and 9 customer satellites by PSLV-C48 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. RISAT-2BR1 is a radar imaging earth observation satellite which weighs about 628 kg. It is placed into an orbit of 576 km at an inclination of 37 degrees. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1204701861019815939 ISRO shared  picture on twitter and wrote: "#RISAT2BR1 satellite successfully placed in orbit by #PSLVC48. Here's a picture of satellite separation captured by onboard camera." It was the sixth launch for 2019 which also includes - Chandrayaan 2 mission. The launch is tentatively scheduled at 1525 Hrs IST on December 11, 2019, subject to weather conditions." -PTC News
