Amid the COVID-19 vaccination across the globe, a 23-year-old Italian woman was mistakenly given six doses of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. As per the report, the woman was given the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine at the Noa hospital in Tuscany, central Italy. She did not suffer any adverse side effects despite the over-dose side-effect. Reportedly, the woman was kept under 24 hours observation to find out if she developed any adverse reaction. She was in "good health" with no underlying conditions, the report added. It has been reported that the health worker, accidentally, filled a syringe with an entire bottle of the vaccine. It contained six doses. The shot was administered to the woman when the health worker realised her mistake. The spokesperson of the hospital said that she saw five empty syringes and realized her mistake. Amid COVID-19 vaccination, a 23-year-old Italian woman was mistakenly given six doses of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. Meanwhile, the doctors will continue to monitor the woman's immune to the "massive dose of vaccine". She was administered the vaccine before other people in her age group as she is working as an intern in the hospital's psychology department. Likewise, an internal investigation has been launched.
