Jagdish Bhola convicted in three drug cases
A special CBI court in Mohali on Wednesday convicted Sportsperson turned drug lord and Former DSP of the Punjab Police Jagdish Bhola and ten others in three different drug cases. The local court will announce the quantum of sentence by evening today.

Sportsperson turned turned-policeman-turned-druglord Jagdish Bhola was convicted by the court in the 6000 crore drug racket . The special CBI court had framed charges against 13 accused in the case.

The Punjab Police had arrested Jagdish Bhola on November 15, 213 and had recovered the synthetic drugs in The police had seized foreign exchange, arms and luxury cars from the various accused in the case. The police had registered cases under the NDPS Act along with various Sections of the IPC against the accused.
