PTC Film Awards begun with a BANG! ON THE DHOL by a 14 year old!
Jahan Geet Singh begins the PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2018 PTC Punjabi is known for its love for Punjabi cinema and music, along with this we epitomize the art of presenting Punjabi folk and dhol like nobody else. She beats conventions just like she beats the dhol. Young and dynamic, this power packed performer opened the show at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2018 at JLPL Ground this evening! The youngest female dhol player in India, a teenager and a girl full of confidence to take Punjabi dhol international is none other than Jahan Geet Singh! She has performed at over 200 live shows in India already and worked with the Government of India too for a cause. Having learnt dhol for the last 7 years approximately, Jahan, for us creates and recreates another world of what music sounds like! Upon asking her how it feels to be a part of PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2018, she said, ‘I have performed for a cause majorly, i have also performed for the government but this experience is enthralling and I am looking forward to this exciting event!’ ‘To be at the stage here today, it’s an extremely important part of my journey, as ill be performing infront of the most known and talented artists in the Punjabi and Hindi cinema,’ she added. -PTC News
