A major fire broke out late last night in a chapel making rubber factory in Aman Nagar near KMV College. The major fire reduced the unit into ashes. It took around 20-25 fire brigades and 6 hours to control the blaze.

According to our reporter, the raw materials kept in the factory premises were gutted in the fire. The fire went uncontrollable due to rubber material and chemicals kept in the unit. It flared up the fire. No causalities have been reported so far.

The chapel making rubber making factory, in which a major broke out was situated in a residential area. There were chances that the fire could have engulfed a few houses into its flames. But, firefighters controlled the blaze timely. At prima facie, the short circuit seems to be the reason behind the fire.

The police rushed to the spot after getting the information and called the fire brigade. The police has launched a probe into the matter.
