Jammu and Kashmir: Massive Avalanches hit Kupwara, Baramulla, Ganderbal; 3 Soldiers killed

Amid heavy snowfall, three soldiers lost their lives and one is still missing after multiple avalanches have hit parts of northern part of Jammu and Kashmir, including the Kupwara, Baramullah and Ganderbal sectors. Indian Army personnel and the other border security forces (BSF) were deployed in the areas. Army Sources have revealed that "Due to heavy snowfall in the last 48 hours, there have been multiple avalanches in the North Kashmir areas after which a number of soldiers have been rescued. 3 soldiers have lost their lives while one is still missing." Meanwhile, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane is in Jaipur attending 4th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat were also present there. https://www.ptcnews.tv/dog-kills-newborn-uttar-pradesh-news-dog-enters-operation-theater-en/ Manoj Mukund Naravane said, "After retiring, veterans are still busy in nation building through various fields. Welfare of veterans is always our priority. Last year, we helped 240 officers and 11,500 JCOs to get a job after retirement." "We are getting women into corps military police.
