Kupwara terror grenade attack: In a shocking incident, terrorists on Friday hurled grenade on a police convoy near the bus stand in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. Soon after the incident, the terrorists fled from the spot.
Meanwhile, the police swung into action and have been looking for the terrorists. On Kupwara's terror attack, Jammu and Kashmir police stated that the militants fled from the spot after carrying a grenade attack.

The police stated that the grenade, hurled on a police convoy in Kupwara, was old and hence it did not explode. Fortunately, there was no loss in the attack.
After the attack, people started gathering on the spot after which the security forces and the J&K; police started jointly evacuating the area.

Likewise, the security forces have surrounded the area around the bus stand. Similarly, the security forces are looking for terrorists in the area.
It is believed that the militants were trying to disrupt the peace in Kashmir ever since Article 370 was scrapped by the government of India.
