Jammu and Kashmir Nagrota attack: In a major incident, a group of three-four terrorists opened fire at a police team at a toll plaza on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Friday. Meanwhile, one policeman was injured, while three terrorists were killed in the encounter. Jammu and Kashmir police took to twitter and wrote: "Police intercepted a Srinagar bound truck at Bann toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar highway. Truck bound terrorists fired on police triggering an encounter." DGP Jammu and Kashmir Police, Dilbagh Singh was quoted by news agency ANI as saying: "3 Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists have been killed, six weapons recovered. Truck driver and conductor have been arrested. Questioning is underway with truck driver and conductor. Search operation is still on.." Mukesh Singh, IG Jammu said that, "Around 5 am, police stopped a truck for checking, the militants hidden inside started shooting. One police personnel was also injured. Three terrorists have been killed in the encounter. Area has been cordoned and search operation is on." Meanwhile, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Piyush Singla, has announced that all the schools in Udhampur zone will be closed due to the ongoing encounter.
