An Indian Army soldier was martyred in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Manjakot sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night. In an incident, a civilian also suffered an injury in Rajdhani village of the Manjakot sector. Meanwhile, the deceased soldier has been identified as Naik Gurcharan Singh, who was a resident of Gurdaspur district in Punjab. According to the information, his body has been taken to a hospital for autopsy. As per the sources, Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling in civilian areas along the Line of Contol in the Manjakot sector on Wednesday night. Pakistan has been targeting civilian areas to push the militants into the Indian territory to create unrest in the country while India is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
