Jammu and Kashmir, Tral Encounter: 2 Militants killed, 2 security men injured
Jammu and Kashmir, Tral Encounter: At least two militants were killed and two security personnel were injured after an encounter broke out in the Tral area of south Kashmir on Tuesday. As per reports, the police received a specific input about the presence of militants at Zand village of Tral. Likewise, the security forces cordoned off and started a search operation in the area. While the security forces asked the militants, who were hiding in a house, to surrender, the militants opened fire which resulted in the encounter. Meanwhile, it was the second major encounter in Kashmir in the past two days. The identification of the two millitants killed is yet to be ascertained. Recently, three militants were killed in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
