Jammu and Kashmir: Woman succumbed to her injuries in shelling by Pakistan
Jammu and Kashmir: One woman who was injured in shelling by Pakistan on Tuesday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez sector, has succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday. The woman was injured during the cross-border firing which took place in the Gurez sector. Also, there were several ceasefire violations by Pakistan on Tuesday including Sunderbani sector, Tangdhar, and Keran sector.

Also, one Indian soldier was martyred during the retaliation to the Pakistanis across the border in the Sunderbani sector in Jammu and Kashmir. However, Indian security forces killed two militants in Tangdhar and Keran sector. There has been an increase in the infiltration in the past two weeks. Likewise, three civilians were injured in Poonch district in a mortar shelling by Pakistan.

Out of these three, an innocent, 15-day-old infant succumbed to his injuries and died. Meanwhile, the two other injured and the parents of the deceased were injured. The security forces are retaliating to the unprovoked firing by Pakistan through small arms firing and the mortar shelling near the Line of Control (LoC). 
However, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has himself admitted that there is still some militant group operating in Pakistan, during his US visit.
