Punjab CM announces job and financial aid for Mansa martyr’s family

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday mourned the sacrifice of the brave hearts who lost their lives in the Handwara encounter in Jammu and Kashmir. In an attack, four army men including a Colonel and a Major and one cop were martyred. Captain Amarinder Singh announced a job to a family member with Rs 10 lakh financial aid to the next of kin of NK Rajesh Kumar, a soldier who hailed from District Mansa of Punjab. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the security personnel who were martyred in an Handwara encounter in Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi said in a tweet: "Tributes to our courageous soldiers and security personnel martyred in Handwara. Their valour and sacrifice will never be forgotten. They served the nation with utmost dedication and worked tirelessly to protect our citizens.
