Jassi Jasraj resigns from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party
Popular Punjabi singer and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader on Tuesday resigned from the primary membership of AAP.

He hold the portfolio of vice-president of state wing and general secretary of the campaign committee. He was also appointed as the spokesperson of AAP.

Earlier, AAP had suspended him for indulging in "anti-party activities” during 2017 Punjab Assembly elections. However, AAP placated Jassi Jasraj later on.

Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh , Jassi Jasraj leveled serious allegations on the AAP leadership of the party in Punjab. Then AAP candidate for 2014 parliamentary polls from Bathinda, Jassi Jasraj said that the party has completely given up its basic ideology and principles.

Earlier, former Former Leader of Opposition leaders, Harvinder Singh Phoolka , Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jaito Master Baldev Singh had also resigned from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
