The results of Haryana Assembly election 2019 were declared on Thursday, where BJP failed in getting a clear majority. However, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar says the party is all set to form the governemnt. “I am optimistic and we are going to form the government in Haryana,” he said. Meanwhile, Dushyant Chautala from Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) addressed the media on Friday.
He said, “In the legislative party meet today, a resolution was passed that I be the leader of the legislative party.” Adding, he said, “The party which will agree to our Common Minimum Program under which we had taken the resolution of 75% jobs reservation for Haryanvis, and that of Chaudhary Devi Lal’s idea of old age pension, JJP will give its support to that party.”
While talking about the further plans, Chautala said, “Till now we haven’t spoken to anybody on this issue as national executive was not clear on the agenda. Now we’ve been authorised, we’ll talk to concerned people. Hopefully in few hours or few days we’ll have positive result.”
