The security forces gunned down two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist in an operation in which eight security personnel, including a DSP, were also injured, here on Thursday. The encounter took place after the security forces launched a cordon and search operation and located the terrorists near a house. Security personnel from the CRPF, police and Army were also a part of the operation. The three suspected JeM terrorists had attacked security personnel on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway on Wednesday following which the search and rescue operations were launched. A villager on Thursday morning informed security forces that the three terrorists had forcibly entered his house last night ate food asked for clothes and a car. "Three terrorists entered my house at around 8 pm yesterday and threatened us not to tell anyone about them. They said they had not eaten for past five days and took biscuits and apples from us. They were wearing torn clothes and were carrying arms. They also took clothes from us. They asked us for a car and offered money but we do not have a car. Soon after, they left," he said. A high alert was sounded in Jammu Kashmir. -PTC News-
