JNU violence: Mob carrying lathis, rods seen roaming in campus after attack

JNU violence: Soon after the attack, another video has surfaced on social media which shows several men armed with sticks and rods enetering the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi, on Sunday. The mob attacked the teachers and students of the JNU. In a video, large group of men wearing jeans and jackets with faces covered were seen raoming inside the JNU campus on Sunday night. According to the information, the video was made after the attack on the university students and teachers in which over 50 people were injured. As per reports, at least 30 students and more than a dozen teachers of the JNU are undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi after sustaining injuries during the violence. Also, JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) president Aishe Ghosh was injured in the attack. https://www.ptcnews.tv/mohali-road-accident-innova-car-crushed-en/ Meanwhile, JNUSU has alleged that BJP-linked student body ABVP is behind the attack. However, the latter has refused the allegations. The incident has been reported to the police and the investigation has been initiated. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that "We condemn the violence in JNU. This needs to be investigated. Congress, Communists, AAP and some elements want to create environment of violence in universities across the country." Following the violence in JNU, the police forces have been put on alert, additional forces have been deployed in Universities across the state including in Aligarh Muslim University. -PTC News
