Job fair in Patiala begins August 24
A three day job fair will be organized by the Patiala Administration from August 24 to 29. The fairs will be organised under the state-level employment generation campaign of the Punjab Government. The job fairs will be held at Government ITI for Boys, Polytechnic College for Girls and Chitkara University, near Rajpura. Patiala DC Kumar Amit held a meeting at the Mini-Secretariat Complex with officials of the departments concerned to review the preparations of the events. The employment fair will kick off on August 24 at the Government ITI for Boys on the Nabha road and youths who underwent technical training would qualify to participate in the fair, Kumar added. He said various multinational companies, including Godrej, Hero Moto Corp and TI Cycles, would seek talent in the job fair. The five-day event at Polytechnic College will start from August 24 and experts would interview youths during the same. -PTC News
