Johal, Mintoo, Gugni sent to judicial custody in target killing cases in Punjab
The court of Judicial Magistrate, Baghapurana ordered 14-day judicial custody for the British citizen Jagtar Singh Johal who was in the police remand for last 13 days in target killing cases in Punjab. Johal was taken into custody by Moga on November 4, 2017. The police did not ask the court for more police remand for Johal. The next date of hearing was fixed for November 30, 2017, said Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, his lawyer. Earlier, Harminder Singh Mintoo and Dharminder Singh Grewal Gugni were sent to Nabha jail on expiry of their police remand. Another accused in the target killings Hardeep Singh Shera’s police remand also expired on Friday. -PTC News
