Brampton West MP Kamal Khera tests positive for coronavirus

Canada: Brampton West Punjabi MP Kamal Khera has been tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19). While giving information about the same, Kamal Khera took to Twitter with a note in which she that she began experiencing symptoms on Saturday night and started self-isolating. She got her test result last night in which was reportedly diagnosed with the pandemic. Khera, a former nurse, was first elected in 2015. Kamal Khera, who is also a parliamentary secretary, said in a statement that she started developing flu-like symptoms on Saturday night and immediately she started self-isolating, with the guidance from Peel’s Public Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada. Khera was tested on Monday night at Peel Memorial Centre in Brampton. My office remains fully operational and my staff continues to work from home to ensure constituents are well supported during these unprecedented times, she said in a statement. “I remain indebted to the incredible health care workers fighting this disease on the front lines and risking their lives every single day to keep the rest of us safe,” she added. https://twitter.com/KamalKheraLib/status/1242938750726025222?s=20 Responding to Khera's tweet, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau wrote: "Take care of yourself, Kamal.
