Karnal: Husband-wife fight in front of police; arrested A Karnal couple that went to a police station to resolve a matter on Tuesday started washing its dirty laundry there to land in yet another trouble. The police station in charge didn’t shrug off or freely complained saying that, “they’re a couple.” Instead, he slapped the couple with a case. Instead, it started arguing in front of the police officials unmindful of their presence in the police station they resorted to thrashing each other physically. The police Inspector, Baljeet Singh, tried to stop them, but the couple didn’t stop. The inspector somehow took control of the situation and filed a case of assault against both the parties. The police station in-charge after failing to resolve the matter amicably, slapped a case on both husband and wife. The girl’s in-laws harassed her for dowry. The dowry demand turned out to be the root cause of the fight.
