Kolkata Guy gives rape threats to a 20 year old, the internet gets him arrested
A case of social media harassment took place this week, where a Kolkata guy, Agniswar Chakraborty, disgusted the readers with his disgusting rape threat on a girl’s Facebook post. The girl ha no idea who he is and they never interacted.
"I will rape you till you beg for mercy.." a part of the comment he posted.
The girl was taken a back in shock after reading what this young boy had pen down on her post. The social media was flabbergasted too upon reading the gory details he penned down on her post.
People all over social media wanted the strictest actions against the guy whose filthy words contained a rape threat directed not only to the girl, but also her 14-year-old brother.
The guy is liable to jail time after the FIR is lodged. Among other charges, we are also going to charge him under POCSO Act because he threatened her 14-year-old brother with rape and abuse, the girl said.
Voice against Cyber Harassment began an online petition to the Kolkata high court, demanding strict punishment for Chakraborty. The campaign on Change.org, signed by over 21,000 people, says: “Strict action should be taken against him so that an example is set once and for all , that you cannot simply get away with such acts of atrocities towards a woman.”
