Narendra Modi on Kurnool Road Accident: In a major shocking accident, 14 people, including a child, were killed while four others were injured after a mini bus collided with a truck in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Kurnool Road Accident took place at around 4 am near Madarpur village in Veldurti Mandal. A bus, carrying a group of pilgrims from Madanapalle in Chittoor district, was on its way to Ajmer in Rajasthan. Among those who died in a mishap, eight were women, five men, and a child. Reportedly, all of them died on the spot. The children who were injured were taken to the Government General Hospital while the condition of two is said to be critical. According to the preliminary investigation, the bus driver lost control and the vehicle crashed against the road median and then rolled to the other side of the road after which it hit a lorry. Meanwhile, the traffic along the national highway was disrupted following the road accident. The accident took place two days after a tourist bus carrying over 20 passengers plunged into a deep gorge at Anantagiri in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The bus had fallen into a 200-foot valley on Visakhapatnam Ghat Road. The mishap claimed the lives of four people and injured 13 others. PM Narendra Modi said that "The road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district is saddening. In this hour of sadness, my thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones.
