Lakhimpur Kheri: The Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested two accused in connection with the violence on October 2. They have been identified as Luvkush and Ashish Pandey. Also read | SC allows girls to take exam for admission to RIMC in December As per reports, the Uttar Pradesh Police has pasted a notice outside the residence of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra at Lakhimpur Kheri, asking his son Ashish Mishra to appear before it on October 8 in connection with the violence that left eight persons, including four farmers and a journalist, dead. They've confirmed the role of three others, who are dead. Technically, they have also been accounted for. These people are giving a lot of information. We are sending summons to key accused Ashish Mishra for questioning," said IG, Lucknow Range, Lakshimi Singh. He said incidents of firing or any firearm injuries had not been confirmed.
