Live-in couple robs and kills Uber Driver in Delhi A live-in couple was arrested on Sunday for killing and robbing Delhi Uber driver. The accused have been identified as Farhat Ali (34) and his partner Seema Sharma (30). Police came to know about the case on January 29, when the wife of the Uber driver filed a missing complaint. The deceased was identified as Ram Govind, a resident of Shakarpur area of East Delhi. During the investigation, the police found that it was a blind case as it was not able to find any witnesses. Even the last ride of the cab was booked from Madangir to Kapashera border. With the help of the surveillance, it recovered the mobile phone of the victim. The police found that couple was moving around the cab on the Mehrauli-Gurugram road. After getting this information, police interrogated the couple. The couple confessed to the crime and police arrested them. During interrogation the accused told that on January 29, they hired Ram Govind’s cab from MG road to Ghaziabad. On that trip, they made a plan to rob the driver. They took him to their home and gave him sedative mixed in tea. Later, according to their plan, they strangled him to death. Next day, they cut his body and wrapped in three separate bundles. After that, the accused threw the pieces in a drain.
