Local Government department decides to waive off fees of AIIMS accruing towards Municipal Corporation Bathinda
The Local Government Department, Punjab, has decided to waive off the fees and other charges of the upcoming All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Bathinda accruing towards the Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.

Similarly, the approval has also been accorded to the project of giving 6 acres of land falling under the Municipal Council, Balachaur at market rates for the construction of judicial courts complex. This was disclosed here today by the Local Government Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu in a press communiqué.

Mr. Sidhu further said that the fees and other charges including Maps and CLU of the AIIMS which accrue towards the Municipal Corporation, Bathinda have been waived off so as to ensure that the project faces no hurdle. These charges amounted to Rs. 5 crore.
