A home-made bomb exploded on an underground train in London injuring 22 persons on Friday. It was the fifth terrorism attack in Britain this year. “Another attack in London by a loser terrorist,” the US president tweeted. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/908643633901039617 After the explosion at 8.20 am, fire engulfed a carriage at Parsons Green underground station in West London. Our city utterly condemns the hideous individuals who attempt to use terror to harm us and destroy our way of  life,” says London Mayor Sadiq Khan. 22 persons had been taken to London hospitals, The National Health Service said. None were thought to be in a serious condition, the ambulance service said. Some passengers suffered burns while others were injured. “We now assess that this was a detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED),” Britain’s top counter-terrorism officer Mark Rowley told reporters. Pictures taken at the scene showed a white bucket with a supermarket freezer bag on the floor of one train carriage. The bucket was in flames. Another witness said: “It was every man for himself, people were panicking, people just ran over each other. There was a lady with badly burned legs, it was pretty shocking. The woman I was with was just run over - it was a stampede.” “There were phones, hats, bags all over the place and when I looked back I saw a bag with flames,”an eye witness said. Outside the station, a woman was sitting on a pavement with a bandage around her leg, while armed police patrolled. Britain’s top counter-terrorism officer Mark Rowley has refused to tell who is responsible for the explosion, or whether the authorities knew about it. -PTC News
