Lucky draw for firecracker licenses for Diwali The Chandigarh Administration issued firecracker licenses to 96 traders during a draw on Monday. The draw was held under the chairmanship of Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi, IAS, and Deputy Commissioner. The draw of lots took place at the deputy commissioner’s office in Sector 17 for nine sites. More than 1,043 people applied for the license.
