Bikram Singh Majithia and Maheshinder Singh Grewal were among several other senior Shiromani Akali Dal leaders who were detained by the Ludhiana Police on Wednesday for staging a protest against Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu over Punjab ration scam. The Shiromani Akali Dal led by senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia, who was detained, was raising voice besides staging dharna against Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu over the Punjab ration scam. Later, Bikram Majithia and other SAD leaders, who were detained, were released.
