Ludhiana Central Jailbreak incident: Four prisoners escaped

Ludhiana Central Jailbreak incident: Four prisoners escaped from the Central Jail in Ludhiana on Saturday. The four absconding prisoners have been identified as Aman Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Suraj Kumar, and Arshdeep Singh. According to the information, all the four prisoners were booked under different cases. They used a blanket as a rope and jump over the wall to enter the women's jail. From there, the four prisoners went to jail complex and absconded. However, the jail authorities were aware of the incident. Meanwhile, a hunt has been launched by the police for the escaped prisoners. Recently, three prisoners escaped from the Central Jail Amritsar earlier in February. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had ordered a magisterial inquiry by the Commissioner Jalandhar into the Amritsar Jailbreak incident, and also directed the Jails Minister to immediately suspend all those responsible for prison security. Firing in Ludhiana Central Jail

In a tragic incident last year, the prisoners had attacked the police officials in Ludhiana Central Jail. The incident took place in June 2019, where many of the police officials were injured in the incident.
