The death toll in last month's gas cylinder blast in the Giaspur locality here rose to 14 after the death of a teenager boy, police confirmed.

14-year-old Shivam, the deceased succumbed to the burn injuries in the local CMC hospital here late last night.
Shivam's father Amarnath, a labourer, who was also severely burnt in the cylinder blast incident on April 26, had died in the hospital on May 1.

The cooking gas cylinder had exploded at the residence of Ashok Kumar Yadav (58) in Samrat Colony of Giaspura, injuring 35 people.
Yadav, his wife Sunita, who was 40 years old and son Raj, 13 years old succumbed to injuries at the CMC hospital later.
