Ludhiana: A major scuffle broke out between Police and Youth Congress workers during the organisational elections of Youth Congress. It has been reported that the clash broke out between the supporters of two candidates, where gun was fired. Ludhiana DCP Ashwani Kapoor said that “Supporters of two candidates fought and allegedly fired shots, after which Police reached the spot.”

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot. After this, the workers got into an argument with the police ACP which resulted in the clash between the police and the Youth Congress workers.

The elections took place in the Model town, on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the police have taken control over the situation.
