Maharashtra Assembly Election Result 2019: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)- Shiv Sena has got the clear majority, on Thursday. The voting for 288 constituencies took place on October 21. The voter turnout for this time was 54.53 percent. As per the exit polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was supposed to have a massive lead. However, Congress fought well, as it got 44 seats. BJP won 105 seats, while Shiv Sena got 56 and NCP got 54. Maharashtra Assembly Election Result 2019 Highlights: 11:31 PM | BJP-Shiv Sena got clear majority and is all set to form the government for the second successive term. 10:46 PM | BJP got 101 seats, Congress got 40, NCP got 51, while Shiv Sena won 56 seats. The independent party has bagged 13 seats. 21:52 PM | BJP won 96 seats, Congress won 36, NCP got 49, while Shiv Sena got 55. The Independent party has got 13 seats. 20:52 PM | So far, BJP has won 88 seats, Congress won 35, NCP got 47 seats, while Shiv Sena got 53. Meanwhile, Independent party has won 11 seats. 19:30 PM | BJP has won 77 seats, Congress got 31, NCP have 43, while Shiva Sena won 47 seats. Meanwhile, Independent got 11 seat among the others. 18:53 PM | Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "People of Maharashtra have blessed the NDA with immense affection. We are humbled to have got people’s support yet again. Our work towards Maharashtra’s progress continues.
