Maharashtra Floods: Five teams of NDRF airlifted from Punjab for rescue operations

Maharashtra Floods: Five teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been airlifted from Punjab for rescue operations in Maharashtra, on Thursday. As per reports, the teams will arrive in Pune first and then spread to the flood-affected areas of Sangli, Kolhapur, and Pune. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1159319487084146688 The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams continue the rescue operations in flood-affected Satara district and also the other districts affected by the floods. Also, just like Maharashtra, Karnataka is also dealing with the havoc of floods, as the heavy rainfall has poured down the state. Meanwhile, the holiday has been announced in schools and colleges by respective District Administrations in the rain-affected districts, which includes Kodagu, Dharwad, Mangaluru, Hassan, Belagavi, Mysore, Karwar, and Udupi. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1159331791423123457 Also, in Mysuru, Karnataka, there has been an increase in the water level in the Kabini Dam with 46,000 cusecs of water. 40,000 cusecs of water released from the dam. The water level in Kabini Dam is currently 2281.5 feet and maximum level is 2284 feet. Recently, Mumbai faced several jolts by the heavy rainfall and now the other districts. There were the number of walls collapsed, road accidents, tragedic accidents, etc, but Maharashtra is still dealing with such incidents.
