"Mainu Mariyo Na,” Pleads Gangster Dilpreet Singh Baba “Mainu mariyo na (Don’t kill me),” pleaded region’s most-wanted gangsters, Dilpreet Singh Baba. He begged policemen for his life after a bullet shot by a policeman pierced his thigh during an encounter in Chandigarh. “Dilpreet had first fired at us and as we retaliated, injuring him, he dropped his weapon and raised his arms, urging us not to kill him,” said Tejinder Singh Sandhu, DSP, state special operation cell (SSOC). “He was under the influence of drugs when he was arrested,” the official said.
