ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022: In a major blow to India, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.
BCCI medical team took the decision to rule out the India fast bowler from the tournament after consultation with the specialists.
Bumrah had previously been ruled out of South Africa's T20Is, raising doubts about his availability for the marquee event. Due to a back injury, Bumrah was forced to miss the Asia Cup. On September 25, in his third T20I against Australia, he allowed 50 off four overs, his worst T20I stats.
