Make in India has emerged as a global brand: PM Modi Prime Minister started the second day of his Japan visit by addressing the Indian community on Monday. He told them that ‘Make in India’ initiative has emerged as a ‘global brand’. He underlined the government’s efforts to encourage the manufacturing of products like Mobile Phones, television, CCTV cameras in India. We are manufacturing quality products not only for India but for the world. India is becoming a global hub, especially in the field of electronics and automobile manufacturing. We are rapidly moving towards becoming number one in mobile phones manufacturing.” PM also congratulated the Indian community for taking the brand India to new heights by introducing Indian food and culture to the island nation. Modi arrived in Japan to attend the 13th India-Japan annual summit on Saturday evening. He spent eight hours with his Japan counterpart Shinzo Abe. Modi also highlighted India’s space programme. He also talked about the government’s commitment to send a manned space flight by 2022.
