Youth Olympic Games: Malaysia surprises India to win Hockey 5s men's gold Malaysia did it. It surprised India 4-2 in the Hockey 5s men's final to win the 3rd Youth Olympic Games gold medal in Buenos Aires on Sunday. Though India had won the Olympic qualifier tournament held in Thailand yet it found Malaysia too hard to handle in the gold medal match. Malaysia, however, retaliated and restored parity in the fifth minute through Firdaus Rosdi. Vivek Sagar Prasad, however, put India ahead again with a brilliant goal in the  6th minute. Malaysia pumped in three goals in the 14th, 17th and 19th minutes to put its claim on the first ever Olympic gold. The goal scorers for Malaysia were  Akhimullah Anuar (two) and  Asif Ishak.
