TikTok is a social media platform where people keep on making videos in term of garnering fan followers and like. the platform was to make fun and joy, but the application has recently resulted in a death in Karnataka. You must have seen some of “mind-blowing” TikTok, but this “bone-breaking” TikTok will make you upset. A 23 years old boy, Kumar was a singer and dancer from Godekere village in Chikkanayakanahalli Taluk, Karnataka fractured his spinal cord. In the video, Kumar can be seen trying a backflip, where he loses his balance and falls on his neck. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzIGI2-lh72/?igshid=1m55dspnms7f Later he was shifted to the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru for treatment, but the spinal injury had already resulted in paralyze, so the doctors recommended surgery to treat the fracture. The cost was estimated to be around 10 lacs but Kumar's parents being laborers could not afford the treatment. The boy took his last breath on 23 June. Though such cases keep on happening, people around doesn’t seem to take their safety seriously. TikTok is an application which was launched in 2017 by ByteDance which went like a fire on the Internet. Also, a TikTok celebrity Mohit Mor was murdered in Delhi. Mohit Mor was asked the bribe but he refused and later stabbed to the death. Hence, there are some people who keep on chanting for the ban, but more the users, more the pressure built up on law and order and the application is back again. -PTC News
