Man Gets Death Penalty For Raping, Killing His 6-Year-Old Daughter
Bhopal special court on Monday awarded the capital punishment to a man for raping and killing his six-year-old daughter.

According to the media reports, the accused (42) had doubted her wife’s character and believed that the victim was not his biological daughter. On March 15, 2017, the accused engaged in unnatural sex with the girl and raped her. Following which he hanged the girl with the help of the stole.

The post-mortem report confirmed the rape and strangulation. The DNA report of the victim matched with the accused, after which the police arrested him.

The main witness turned hostile in the court. The scientific pieces of evidence of the post-mortem and DNA helped the prosecution to prove the case.

The special judge for the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCOS), Kumudini Patel, awarded him capital punishment under section 302 of the IPC and life imprisonment under section 376.
