Manali-Leh Highway Closed After Snowfall Manali- Leh highway is now closed for traffic after heavy snowfall. Manali-Leh highway connects Himachal Pradesh tourist spot with Leh in Jammu and Kashmir. The 38 Task Force of the General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) official told the sources that the traffic has been closed since Saturday. Also, the tourist attraction Rohtang Pass which stands at a height of 13,050 feet is also closed. The government has advised the locals and tourists not to travel towards high riches as snow and heavy rains are expected till September 25. Due to continuous snowfall, the locals are not advised to beyond Marhi. The Manali-Leh highway goes through Baralacha Pass (16,020 ft), Tanglangla (17,480 ft), Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft), and Lachlungla Pass (16,620 ft). -PTC NEWS
