Big act of bravery from a tiny shop owner and his employees: A robbery was prevented at a jewellery shop, GH Ornaments, on Tuesday night at NAC Market, Manimajra. The courageous effort of the shop owner and his employees forced the robbers to run away.

At around 8:05 pm, four miscreants carrying pistols in their hands went inside the shop and threatened the owner (Hanumant Bhosle, 42) to remain silent. The owner caught one of them and engaged him in a scuffle. In the meantime, one of his employees, Sachin, came.  The owner ran towards the workshop, where they make designs of jewellery items. One of the robbers opened fire. The bullet pierced the glass door and hit the roof. The shop owner and his employees started shouting, following which they escaped. After the robbers escaped the Hanumant Bhosle called the police and his family. Three employees and Hanumant Bhosle were present at the time of the incident. Inspector Ranjeet Singh, SHO of Manimajra police station found an empty bullet shell on the spot.  During questioning, the police found that the robbers were six in number. Two of them were sitting in the car bearing Delhi registration number. The police is analyzing the footage of a CCTV camera. -PTC NEWS
