Manjinder Sirsa talks to Gulab Shaheen, assures all help from DSGMC and SGPC The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today talked to Gulab Singh Shaheen, a sikh police officer of Pakistan who was thrown out of his home in Pakistan and was also manhandled by some miscreants,  and assured all help to him from DSGMC and Shiromani Gurudwara Management Committee (SGPC) and Shiromani Akali Dal. Disclosing this here today, Mr. Sirsa informed that Gulab Singh informed him that he was being harassed in Pakistan and needs help from DSGMC and SGPC besides others. He also informed him that if these organization will not help Sikhs in Pakistan, then Sikhs will be eliminated from the country.  He also told Mr. Sirsa that Tariz Wazir head of Walkf Board (ETPB) in Pakistan wansts to usurp  prime properties belonging to Gurudwara Sahibs and wants to build Mall in there place as he had earlier also done so. He also said that he was not hurt for being expelled from his home but was hurt for tossing of his turban and hurting his religious sentiments and wants punishment for those who have hurt his sentiments. Mr. Sirsa assured Gulab Singh that DSGMC, SGPC and Akali Dal are pursuing his case with the local Embassy who is not responding so far to calls. He said that they will ensure that guilty of tossing his turban and hurting religious sentiments are punished and also assured all help to him and every Sikh of India was with him. Mr Sirsa has taken a strong notice of the incident of attacking a baptised Sikh in Pakistan and  strongly condemned Pakistan Government for failing to protect the minority Sikhs and adopting a no-action approach towards the hooliganism shown in such incidents. “Gulab Singh Shaheen is one of the first Sikhs to be a part of Pakistan Police Force. If a police officer is subjected to such harsh and disrespectful treatment, one can only imagine the fear with which common people from minority are forced to live in Pakistan,” said Mr Sirsa. Mr Sirsa shared the video of Gulab Singh on his twitter and Facebook demanding FIR and criminal action against the culprits. In his video, Gulab Singh has clearly said that Sikhs are not safe in Pakistan. Elaborating the same, Mr Sirsa quoted the recent cold blooded murder of S. Charanjit Singh in Peshawar adding that 8 prominent Sikhs have been killed in Pakistan in last few months. “What is most disgusting in this incident is the attack on Turban of an Amritdhari Sikh. Had such an incident happened in India, the culprit would have been charged with IPC 295a as a deliberate and malicious act of insulting a religion or religious beliefs. On behalf of Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, I seek action on the same from Pakistan High Commission in India. There should be an FIR against the culprit and a criminal case, which we will ensure from Pakistan Govt through Pak High Commission,”said Mr Sirsa. Mr Sirsa has also tweeted about the same to Foreign Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj requesting her to address the issue of safety of Sikhs in Pakistan with her counterpart in Pak govt. -PTC News-
