Captain Amarinder mourns Manpreet Badal’s mother’s demise
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh expressed grief over the demise of Harminder Kaur, mother of Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, who passed away at Badal village on Thursday morning.
Describing Harminder Kaur as a devoted soul and a pillar of strength for the family, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh extended his condolences and prayed for eternal peace for her.
The death of Harminder, who is survived by her son, a daughter besides her husband, ex-MP Gurdas Singh Badal, was a huge loss to the family, said Captain Amarinder Singh in his condolence message. Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh also prayed for strength for the family in this hour of grief.
The cremation will take place in Badal village on Thursday afternoon at 3 pm, according to the family sources.

Meanwhile, Manpreet Badal took to Twitter and wrote: "With profound grief and sorrow it is to inform the sad demise of my mother, Sardarni Harmandir Kaur Badal. The Funeral will take place at cremation ground of village Badal today at 3 pm."
