Marjaavaan trailer: Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh are back in Ek Villain 2.0
The trailer of the much-awaited film Marjaavaan featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria is finally out and is surely not the one you were expecting, instead it's much more. The trailer begins with the action which promises that the film is going to be an action packed drama. Interestingly, Tara Sutaria who act immensely in Student of the Year 2, is mute here and will give you the glimpse of the Shraddha Kapoor's character in Ek Villain. Now, discussing about the villain, Riteish enters murmuring the song from Ek Villain "Teri Galiyaan, Galiyaan, Teri Galiyaan", which is why the film looks like a sequel to Ek Villain. In Marjaavaan, Riteish plays the role of dwarf, who is out to kill Tara and anyone who comes in the way. The film seems to have a communal love story– a Hindu boy Sidharth falls in love with a Muslim girl Tara, which seems to be the cause of violence. Guzrega iss desh ki jis gali se, madat milegi har kisi ko. Mango ya Ali se ya Bajrangbali se," sets screen on fire. The dialogue from the films are more of the rhymings, which is giving a comical tinge, taking away from the seriousness. However, Riteish is projecting pure evil. Sidharth Malhotra is seen breaking bones, crushing skulls and smashing bad guys to the floor. The film is set to release on November 22, 2019. -PTC News
