Maulvi arrested for rape of minor girl inside madrassa premises In a repeat to the Kathua rape case, a minor girl was raped inside madrassa premises by a Maulvi. The Delhi Police have arrested a 34-year-old Muslim cleric in connection with the rape case. The cleric, who was identified as Ghulam Shahid, was taken into custody on Friday, since, he was aware of the crime committed by the juvenile inside the madrassas premises in Sahibabad. A 17-year-old youth, the alleged rapist was earlier apprehended by the police for the crime. The 11-year-old girl victim was rescued on April 22 from the madrasa by a Delhi Police team after her father made a complaint that his daughter had gone missing after she went to market. -PTC News
