MBBS Students urge Punjab CM for getting their results declared MBBS students today urged the Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, to get their results declared. In a letter to the Chief Minister, students wrote that students were shifted from Chintpurni Medical College and Hospital to Government Medical Colleges of Punjab. But, the result of only those students was announced who have deposited Rs. 3,22,102 with the college. The GMC Patiala demanded 3,22,102/- which has been under judicial purview before the Hon'ble High Court in the CWP No. 4556 of 2019. They need results to join the internship at their respective colleges. Also, because of this, the chance for appearing in the postgraduate entrance exam is at risk as the students are required to clear their internship by March 2020. The letter further read that the Vice Chancellor of the university clearly announced that till the time fee was not paid, the result would not be declared. With this, the students requested the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter to save their future. - PTC NEWS
