Mid-Air Theft: Even air passengers are getting robbed these days In a shocking accident, SAA flight passengers flying from Johannesburg to Hong Kong were robbed of Cash and Jewellery, mid-air on Monday. According to the reports, the passengers were asleep when the theft took place. The passengers told the cabin crew that their valuables have been stolen from the overhead compartments. The cabin crew was shocked on learning about this incident. As soon as the aircraft landed at the Hong Kong International airport, the police boarded the aircraft. The missing items mysteriously turned up on a passenger’s seat. The cops also searched some passengers whom they suspected, but couldn’t find the culprit. One of the complainants pointed out a few passengers who behaved in a suspicious manner. After the flight landed at the Hong Kong international airport, the crew alerted the police. The suspects were asked to be remained seated while rest of the passengers were allowed to leave. No concrete evidence was found, so, they have to release the suspects too. -PTC NEWS
